RM-697 Nokia C5-03 v23.0.015 CFW Released



Happy to announce another RM-697 C5-03 v23.0.015 cfw for you Guys!!

Flashing Files and Procedure:
1.Download RM-697 OFW HERE

2.Download C5-03 RM-697 IGOR FLASH FILE from HERE

3.Put the folder (RM-697) in the product of your phoenix.


This CFW is Build on RM-697 CTR VIETNAMESE BLACK BURNED ORANGE


1) place the "RM-697 folder"(from step 1) in Program Files -> Nokia -> phoenix -> Products

2) turn ON CP, connect it to PC(wait till the PC recognize your CP model)

3) disconnect your phone from computer and turn it off

4) prepare phone to flash with phoenix

open phoenix ->
press 'File' ->
choose 'open product' from file menu ->
choose RM-697 ->
in connection select 'NO CONNECTION' ->
open 'Flashing' Menu and choose Firmware Update ->
choose product code from the 3dots [ ... ]/browse button ->
select : C5-03 RM-697 CTR VIETNAMESE BLACK BURNED ORANGE ->
press 'ok' ->
check 'Dead USB' ->
go to 'options' button ->

then Delete everything except following files -
a. RM-697_23.0.015_prd.core.C00
b. RM-697_23.0.015_C01_prd.rof2.V20
c. RM-697_719_015_U001.uda.fpsx


--> then click the .C00 file, click edit, choose the .C00 file in 'Igor1.5' folder
--> then click the .rofs2.V21 file, click edit, choose the .rofs2.V21 file in 'Igor1.5' folder
--> then use the original .uda file as it is.
--> press 'ok'
--> press REFURBISH' button.
-->Remove battery of your phone
5) now connect your OFF CELLPHONE to computer
-->Press ok
6) Wait until a pop-up message appears saying that flashing is complete. Done.

      I think you have flashed it wrong. Follow the instructions precisely. One thing i could say now is that u might have plugged the phone at the beginning itself. Thats why this error usually occurs

    by mistake, i downgraded my c5-03 v23.0.015 with a cfw of v22...
    It got bricked(as expected)
    Can I bring it back with this?

    NB: This technique of reflashing with latest fw worked on my 5233 not sure abt c5-03...
    please help!!!!!!!!!!!

      Try this version or download latest original firmware for your phone from navifirm. It will work.

      yeah, provided they are same versions and just replace cfw files in those ie. use rofs2, uda and core provided by cfw.

    wasnt successful in phoenix,it gves an error, but when i turned it on, it was working well, thanx for the beautifully added 2 homescreens... u did a great job, now i love my c5-03 again :)

      Hi... What do you mean by update? You can update a firmware on phone with a newer version using software pheonix. But by updating you will not get all the changes in the new version. You will need to flash the phone for a complete transform. Hope you understood.

      Dont worry. Download the app named Navifirm. Link available in my first post for flashing tutorials. Then download original firmware for the respective version from Nokia care suite.

      Maybe you flashed it wrong. Try with original firmware from Nokia Navifirm and strictly follow the rules and steps.

    i have lots of songs in my memory card but when i refresh library in music player nothing added.. plz help me

      Hello... Voice commanding and other writing languages are removed so as to give maximum free memory. Then songs... for that the problem is the folder name do this:
      use xplore, show system drives, goto z:, in folder private\10202be9 u will find a file named 101FFCD2.txt, open it check the folder name given, rename ur music folder to that name. Refrersh Music library. Done.

    dude i already try it...nd my mob was bricked.....problem is tht when we switch off d phone nd connect it 2 PC mobile starts charging...then flashing nt works!!!!!!!

      Ypu probably did it wrong. First, you have to open product in phoenix in No Connection mode. Then select Firmware update, select files and refurbish. You have to do all this without connecting phone. When it asks to connect phone, click OK and then connect phone in switched off mode. Then it will not start charging. Try it. Or try my other firmwares.
